Job summary

Are you an experienced Receptionist with excellent administration and communication skills along with excellent customer service?

We are looking for a part time Receptionist to join the friendly team at Coastal CAMHS based at the Chapel Street Clinic in Chichester. This role is for 3 days a week (22.5 hours)

This is an interesting and varied position that would suit an experienced Receptionist who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role. The post holder will be motivated and flexible, be able to work well within a team and able to organise their own workload. Good time management skills and being able to prioritise tasks is essential as is having good attention to detail.

Excellent communication and listening skills are required for this role, along with organisational and problem-solving skills. IT skills, accuracy, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team are all essential for this role.

You will need to demonstrate a professional and confident manner and be able to liaise effectively with other teams and agencies and members of the public. You will also need to have the ability to deal sensitively with people who may be distressed.

Main duties of the job

This role is to provide Reception support to the Coastal CAMHS team. To liaise with other services and to respond effectively to enquiries from the general public, service users, and other agencies.

Tasks include taking telephone enquiries from service users, diary management; arranging appointments; correspondence; data inputting; working alongside and providing support to the Coastal CAMHS team.

A good working knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. Knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage but full training will be given.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

NVQ2 or equivalent / good standard of secondary education; GCSE at Grade C or above PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software

Knowledge/Experience Essential

Previous reception and switchboard experience Experience of working with the public
