We are looking to recruit a Senior Estates Manager (Buliding) to be responsible for the effective site maintenance and operation of all building fabric and systems in an efficient, economical and safe manner in accordance with all Statutory Legislations, NHS, Trust and Departmental guidelines.
This includes management of all building related systems and infrastructure which includes but not not limited to:
Asbestos Management
Passive Fire Safety Systems
Confined Spaces
Surface and underground drainage
Signage
Roofs including edge protection and mansafe systems.
Windows and Glazing
External Stairwell and access ladders.
Highways (access and egress)

Experience Essential
Knowledge and experience of appropriate procurement methods Experience of operational maintenance management, engineering plant, services, equipment and development schemes. Knowledge and experience of risk management Knowledge and experience of Asbestos Risk Management and Health & Safety within the built environment. Experience of staff management. Experience of operations and maintenance of buildings, engineering plant, services & equipment. Significant post qualification relevant experience Building infrastructure management and safety.
Desirable
Healthcare engineering services and systems.

Knowledge Essential
Full knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements including Building Safety Act 2022, Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, CIBSE guides, Health & Safety, NHS Estates Guidance etc. Excellent knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Estates management related databases.
Qualifications Essential
Educated to Degree level in a relevant building discipline or hold a relevant professional qualification plus equivalent skills and experience. Corporate membership of a relevant professional institute; Chartered Institute of Building, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, CIBSE, IHEEM
