We are recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority for a proactive, hands-on IT Support Engineer to help address increased demand across the IT Service Desk, reduce incident and service-request backlogs, support end users, and contribute to a significant device refresh programme. This is an initially three-month temporary contract paying £220 per day via umbrella, for 36 hours per week. The role is fully office-based at Croydon Town Hall and other council sites, five days per week; working from home is not available. Travel between sites may be required, using a council-provided vehicle. We offer varied technical exposure and the opportunity to support frontline services and contribute to a critical IT service. Adecco is acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers. The Adecco Group UK & Ireland is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
