Description:

Responsibilities: Job Summary: The Radiology Technologist II independently performs a wide range of imaging procedures and demonstrates proficiency in multiple modalities. Key Responsibilities:

• Greets and assists patients, explain procedures clearly, and ensure appropriate attire for procedure.

• Performs routine and complex radiographic exams and imaging procedures, including OR and fluoroscopy procedures following established protocols; position patients accurately.

• Selects and applies appropriate technical factors based on body habitus and pathology; maintains attention to patient and equipment during procedures.

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of imaging equipment and ensures proper operation.

• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and verifies image quality.

• Performs additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals. Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required • 2+ years of related experience • Licenses & Certifications:

• Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards (SCRQS) certification

Essential Skills:

• Strong computer skills.

• Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
