Location: Enfield - easily accessible from central, north, and east London, as well as surrounding areas Salary: Ark MPS or UPS (Outer London) £38,805 - £51,735 or £54,309 - £58,404 depending on experience Working pattern: Full-time (Part-time working will be considered) Contract:Permanent Start date:4th January 2027 Closing date:15th October 2026 We are seeking a passionate practitioner with a strong understanding of the Art curriculum and a commitment to delivering exceptional teaching. The successful candidate will be able to inspire curiosity about the past, develop students’ analytical and evaluative skills, and contribute to fostering a rich culture of historical enquiry across the school.
Key Responsibitlities:
To plan, resource and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard, thereby ensuring meaningful learning takes place and pupils make rapid and sustained progress To develop one’s own teaching practice to a level of advanced proficiency To fully implement all academy routines and techniques for creating a culture of high expectations Contribute to the enrichment, extra-curricular and raising aspirations programmes Provide daily pastoral tutoring to a cohort of pupils
Qualification Criteria:
Qualified to teach and work in the U.K. Honors degree directly related to the teaching aspects of the role (Art degree preferred) A-Level in Art Recognised teaching qualification, such as PCGE (applicants will preferably have qualified teacher status, although the school will accept applications who are on an accredited programme working towards Qualified Teacher Status)
