About this role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Galway, Ireland. In this role, you will lead a specific station within our kitchen, overseeing food preparation, quality control, and team coordination. You will work collaboratively with our head chef and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and organization.
Lead and manage a designated kitchen station (partie), ensuring consistent preparation and presentation of dishes according to established recipes and standardsPrepare and cook high-quality dishes while maintaining efficiency during service periodsTrain, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff assigned to your station, providing constructive feedback and guidanceMonitor food quality, portion control, and plating consistency to meet organizational standardsManage inventory, food costs, and ordering for your assigned stationMaintain meticulous cleanliness and organization of your station and equipmentEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food handling protocolsCollaborate effectively with the head chef, sous chefs, and other kitchen staff to support smooth kitchen operationsContribute to menu development and suggest improvements based on culinary expertise and customer feedbackAssist with kitchen setup and breakdown as needed Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar senior kitchen positionAdvanced culinary skills and expertise in food preparation and cooking techniquesStrong knowledge of food safety standards and health regulationsDemonstrated leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsProficiency in kitchen equipment operation and maintenanceAbility to work efficiently under pressure during peak service timesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and commitment to quality and consistencyPreferred: Experience with European or Irish cuisinePreferred: Background in menu development and culinary innovationPreferred: Experience training and developing kitchen staff About Aramark
