Are you an experienced hospitality professional looking for your next leadership opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Assistant Group Manager to support the successful delivery of catering services across our operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, building strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained every day.
Working closely with the Group Manager, you will help oversee multiple catering services, support operational excellence, and drive customer satisfaction while developing and motivating teams.

What you'll be doing
Supporting the Group Manager with the day-to-day management of catering operationsLeading and motivating teams to deliver outstanding food and customer serviceAssisting with operational planning and ensuring service delivery meets client expectationsSupporting recruitment, training, development, and performance management of team membersMonitoring food quality, service standards, and customer satisfactionAssisting with budget management, stock control, and cost efficiency initiativesEnsuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company proceduresBuilding and maintaining positive relationships with clients and key stakeholdersSupporting the implementation of business objectives and continuous improvement plansProviding management cover in the absence of the Group Manager Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service management roleStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesA customer-focused approach with a passion for service excellenceGood financial awareness and experience managing budgets or costsKnowledge of food hygiene, health & safety, and operational complianceStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workloadA proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to support multiple locations when required At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
