About this role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Welfare Cleaner to join our team in Sneaton, Whitby. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within welfare facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and contractors.
The successful candidate will take pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain welfare facilities, including offices, canteens, kitchens, toilets, washrooms, and changing areasEmpty bins and waste disposalReplenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, hand towels, and cleaning supplies.Ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic to a high standardCarry out routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfacesReport any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concernsFollow company cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelinesStore cleaning materials safely and responsibly Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)A strong work ethic and positive attitudeGood attention to detailThe ability to work independently and manage your workload effectivelyGood communication skillsA reliable and punctual approach to workExperience cleaning welfare units, site facilities, commercial premises, or public buildingsKnowledge of COSHH regulations and safe use of cleaning chemicalsUnderstanding of health and safety requirements in the workplace At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
