We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in London, United Kingdom. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and restaurant, ensuring that our chefs and front-of-house team have everything they need to deliver exceptional service to our customers. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment where your contribution is genuinely valued. - Carry out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation
Deliver food and supplies to designated outlets on-site in a timely and efficient manner, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail - Support the kitchen and front-of-house teams where possible, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist colleagues in meeting service demands - Maintain food hygiene and health and safety standards at all times, adhering to organisational policies and proceduresManage waste disposal and recycling responsibly, keeping the kitchen environment clean, safe and compliant with regulations - Operate kitchen equipment and machinery safely and effectively, following all relevant guidelines and reporting any concerns promptly - Respond promptly to requests from kitchen and restaurant staff, working collaboratively to prioritise tasks and meet service demandsReport any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management immediately, demonstrating a proactive approach to workplace safety - Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture through professional and friendly interactions with all team members - Maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance standards consistent with food service requirements Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive induction and training will be provided - Strong people skills and excellent communication abilities - Exceptional teamwork and collaborative approach to working with diverse teams - Flexible attitude towards duties and willingness to adapt to changing priorities - Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periodsMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards - Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining quality standards - Reliable, punctual and organised approach to workAwareness of health and safety practices in a kitchen environment - Food hygiene knowledge or willingness to obtain relevant certification - Customer-focused mindset with an understanding of how your role supports excellent service delivery - Resilient and positive attitude towards challenges and continuous improvement - Manual dexterity and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely - Ability to follow instructions and procedures accuratelyWillingness to learn and develop skills within a supportive team environment - Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Advanced & financial vetting required.
