We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive General Assistant / Store Person to join our team at Heathrow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in maintaining accurate stock control, and enjoys supporting a busy catering operation behind the scenes.

What you'll be doing
Receiving deliveries and checking orders against delivery notesStoring stock correctly and ensuring stock rotation procedures are followedDelivering stock and supplies to the appropriate areas across the siteAssisting chefs with basic food preparation duties as requiredCounting and controlling stock, investigating discrepancies and reporting shortagesChecking invoices and noting any shortages, damages, or issues with deliveriesMoving cages, boxes, and stock safely around the operationMaintaining clean, safe, and organised storage areasComplying with Aramark policies and procedures at all timesFollowing health and safety and food hygiene regulationsAdhering to site security procedures and stock control processesSupporting the wider catering team with day-to-day operational requirements Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, catering, logistics, or stock control role is desirable but not essentialAbility to lift and carry boxes containing dry and frozen goods safelyComfortable moving cages and stock throughout the centreGood numerical skills with the ability to accurately count stock and identify discrepanciesExperience checking invoices and recording shortages would be advantageousStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA reliable, proactive, and flexible approach to workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills
Additional Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Enhanced DBS clearance.Successful candidates will also be required to obtain and maintain Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) clearance.
