ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Dispatch Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day deliveries and merchandising activities within your assigned area ensuring the delivery of a best-in-class customer experience. The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience in a fast-paced dispatch team, ideally within a Driver or Driver Merchandiser role WHAT YOU WILL DO <ul><li>Carry out duties with a focus on efficient working practices, including efficient route planning, optimisation of van space and performance of cross checks against paperwork before departure.</li><li>Working as part of a team, deliver and merchandise product on a daily basis keeping storage areas clean, organised and clearly labelled.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining agreed minimum and maximum stock levels on behalf of the customer for all appropriate products, by carrying out stock checks at agreed locations, raising orders for replenishment of stock, receipting and checking stock received and reporting any shortages, damages and discrepancies.</li><li>To deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring Codex values are portrayed in your day to day interactions with customers.</li><li>Proactively engage with Dispatch Team Lead to optimise the delivery performance and develop ideas around efficiencies and enhancement of customer experience.</li><li>Provide feedback on trends and changes observed regarding the marketplace etc. </li><li>Maintain constant and effective contact with the office during delivery cycle to ensure updated instructions can be received and executed. Capture full compliance and capture of POD’s and report shortages / returns efficiently. </li><li>Adhere to all company and government policies ensuring best practice and compliance to Health & Safety regulations. </li><li>Maintain a clean driving record and comply with national procedure, rules and regulations. </li><li>Ensure daily vehicular checks are carried out and vehicle is fully road worthy. Report any incidents as they arise and file reports where necessary.</li><li>Become proficient in all available applications and internal systems including Microsoft Teams and Outlook. </li><li>Effective communication and collaboration with other departments and teams where necessary to improve customer service. Proactively troubleshooting and escalating issues to relevant parties. </li><li>Practice professional and respectful communication at all times with the proper use of internal platforms in line with communication guidelines and policies. </li><li>Travel to the Dublin Head Office may be required on a quarterly basis to attend Company Townhalls, training or other team activities.</li></ul> WHAT YOU WILL BRING <ul><li>2 years previous experience working as a dispatch driver / merchandiser or similar role </li><li>Full clean driver’s license</li><li>Positive ‘can do’ attitude with innovative mindset and approach. </li><li>Good communication and customer service</li><li>Reliable and proactive with strong organisation skills.
