Total Plastic Solution is recruiting experienced, genuinely multi-skilled machinists for our manufacturing and toolroom operation in Dromcollogher, Co. Limerick, Ireland. Candidates must be able to machine components independently using both manual and CNC equipment. This is not a CNC loading-only role. Legal employer: Abbey Moulding Contractors Ltd, trading as Total Plastic Solution (TPS). Your work - Set up and operate manual milling machines and centre lathes. - Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning equipment. TPS uses Cincinnati CNC machines with Fanuc controls. - Read engineering drawings, plan machining sequences and select suitable tools, speeds and feeds. - Manufacture one-off and small-batch components, including tooling and repair parts. - Measure and inspect completed work using appropriate metrology equipment. - Work independently, maintain safe working practices and communicate technical issues clearly. Essential experience - Demonstrable hands-on ability on both manual milling machines and manual lathes. - Practical CNC setup and operating experience. State your programming ability clearly in your application. - Ability to read drawings, work to specified tolerances and inspect your own components. - Sound knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, materials, speeds and feeds. - Working English sufficient for safety, technical instructions and team communication. Strong advantages - Fanuc control and Cincinnati CNC experience, although equivalent-machine experience is acceptable. - Toolroom, mouldmaking, precision maintenance or one-off component experience. - CNC programming, CAD/CAM, grinding or EDM experience. What TPS offers - 40 paid hours per week. - Earliest start by agreement, subject to notice and work permission; portal start date is indicative. - Starting annual salary: €38,000. - Mainly daytime, with occasional 16:00–00:00 evening work. - TPS can arrange accommodation for as long as reasonably required. The employee pays the agreed rent and normal living costs; full terms are confirmed in writing before relocation. - Direct employment with TPS — no recruitment agency and no candidate recruitment fee. - Employment-permit support where the candidate and role are legally eligible.
