Total Plastic Solution is recruiting experienced injection mould toolmakers to join our manufacturing team in Dromcollogher, Co. Limerick, Ireland. This is a hands-on role for people who can build, diagnose, repair and maintain injection mould tooling. It is not a production-operator position. Legal employer: Abbey Moulding Contractors Ltd, trading as Total Plastic Solution (TPS). Your work - Build, fit, assemble and prove injection mould tools and mould components. - Diagnose moulding faults and complete planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and modifications. - Use CNC milling equipment to manufacture precision mould components and copper or graphite electrodes for sinker EDM. - Use wire EDM and sinker/spark EDM equipment to manufacture and repair precision components. - Carry out manual milling, turning, grinding, fitting, polishing and accurate bench work as required. - Read mould drawings, inspect your own work and work independently to the required dimensions and finish. Essential experience - Proven practical experience in injection mould construction and mould repair. - Hands-on CNC milling experience, including the manufacture and inspection of copper or graphite EDM electrodes. - Hands-on wire EDM and sinker/spark EDM experience. TPS operates ONA equipment; equivalent-machine experience is acceptable. - Strong toolroom fitting, machining, measuring and fault-finding ability. - Working English sufficient for safety, technical instructions and team communication. Major advantages - Laser-welding experience for mould repair and restoration. - Experience with Fanuc controls, Cincinnati CNC machinery, hot runners, hydraulic cores or complex mould tooling. What TPS offers - 40 paid hours per week. - Earliest start by agreement, subject to notice and work permission; portal start date is indicative. - Starting annual salary: €42,000. - Mainly daytime, with occasional 16:00–00:00 evening work. - TPS can arrange accommodation for as long as reasonably required. The employee pays the agreed rent and normal living costs; full terms are confirmed in writing before relocation. - Direct employment with TPS — no recruitment agency and no candidate recruitment fee. - Employment-permit support where the candidate and role are legally eligible.
