Job Title: Software Developer II – Java / Spring Boot About the Role
We are looking for a Software Developer II to join our development team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend applications. This role is ideal for a mid-level developer who is comfortable working with Java and Spring Boot, enjoys collaborating in agile teams, and is motivated to continuously improve code quality and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring BootBuild and consume RESTful APIsCollaborate with product owners, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutionsParticipate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and coding standardsTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performanceContribute to technical documentationSupport continuous improvement of development processes and toolsRequired Qualifications
Solid experience with Java and Spring BootExperience building REST APIs and microservicesKnowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)Solid experience with Git and version control workflowsKnowledge on clean code, controls and design patternsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsNice to Have
Experience with microservices architectureKnowledge of Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA, or KafkaExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with CI/CD pipelinesFoundational knowledge of Docker and containerizationFamiliarity with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito)What We Offer
