About this role
We are looking for a Sr Security Engineer to join our Security team and play a key role in strengthening security across our multi-cloud environment (AWS and GCP).
This role will be instrumental in driving security automation, improving operational excellence, and helping shift engineering culture toward security-by-design.
You will work with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, and Global Security stakeholders.
🛠️ Your key responsibilities
Own and evolve parts of the cloud security landscape across AWS and GCPEmbed security practices into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using TerraformDrive security automation across environments, reducing manual processes and operational riskAct as a security evangelist, influencing engineers to adopt secure-by-default practicesPartner with development, SRE, and infrastructure teams to improve security remediation and incident managementSupport incident response activities, post-incident improvements, and operational readinessContribute to security tooling, standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives 🎯 What we expect from you
Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Security, especially AWS (GCP experience is a plus or willingness to learn)Solid background in DevSecOps and embedding security into engineering workflowsExperience with Terraform and Infrastructure as CodeProficiency working with Linux/Unix environmentsScripting experience with Go and/or PythonComfortable working independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityAbility to think end-to-end and collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholdersAdvanced English (you will work with global stakeholders).Availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed.⭐ Nice to have
