Salary: £22,000 - 27,000 per year
Requirements: Experience working in an IT support or technical support role.Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop hardware.Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.A professional and customer-focused approach.The ability to work effectively as part of a small team.Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.A willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical skills.Previous experience working within an education environment would be advantageous but is not essential. Responsibilities: Provide first- and second-line technical support to staff and users.Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.Support Windows desktop and laptop devices.Install, configure and maintain IT equipment.Support network infrastructure and connectivity.Maintain and troubleshoot printers and photocopiers.Support classroom and presentation technology.Assist with the maintenance and support of telephone systems.Support CCTV and other technology systems.Assist with audio, sound and lighting equipment.Set up and prepare IT equipment for users and learning environments.Carry out routine maintenance and technical checks.Escalate complex technical issues where appropriate.Work collaboratively with other members of the IT Support Team.Provide a professional, responsive and customer-focused IT support service.Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, incidents and technical work. We offer a salary of £20,000 to £27,000 and the opportunity to work as part of a small and supportive IT team in a multi-site education environment.
