Salary: £37,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements: Experience working in an MSP, multi-client technical support, infrastructure or security administrator rolePractical experience using security platforms, including Microsoft 365 security tools and Sophos, to investigate alerts, respond to issues and improve security postureExperience investigating security incidents, suspicious activity, phishing, malware, account compromise or similar scenariosExperience supporting security hardening, configuration improvement, vulnerability management, patching, remediation tracking or control implementationStrong troubleshooting skills across user, endpoint, identity, email, cloud and client configuration scenariosCuriosity and initiative to investigate unclear security issues and follow them through to practical outcomesAbility to communicate technical risks clearly to Service Desk, Infrastructure, Account Managers and clientsStrong documentation skills, including evidence gathering, investigation notes, exceptions, remediation records and review datesThreat investigation, security improvement delivery, escalation judgement, evidence and documentation discipline, Service Desk enablement, client advisory support, operational ownership, prioritisation under pressure, a pragmatic security mindset and continuous learning Responsibilities: Monitor and investigate alerts across Microsoft 365, Sophos and other security platforms used in internal and client environmentsInvestigate security incidents, support containment, remediation and recovery, escalate significant incidents, and support major incident responseMaintain security documentation and contribute to improving our internal security posture through remediation support, control implementation and evidence gatheringReview vulnerability scan results, validate findings, identify false positives, track remediation, work with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to reduce risk, and produce regular vulnerability posture reportsReview Microsoft Secure Score, Defender, Entra ID, Intune and Conditional Access recommendationsSupport Microsoft 365 security improvements across internal and client environmentsInvestigate Microsoft 365 security alerts, identity risks and configuration issuesAssist with MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, Intune and endpoint security initiativesAct as a technical security escalation point for Service Desk, Infrastructure, Account Managers and clientsSupport QSRs, vulnerability management, exception handling and security improvement activity Technologies: CloudSupportMicrosoft 365SecurityOffice 365 More:
