Our facility produces high-quality, tight-tolerance components and assemblies for the aerospace, defense, and medical industries. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC setup experience and a commitment to quality workmanship in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.This is a hands-on machining position with a primary focus on machine setup, tooling, and process optimization. Programming experience is welcomed but not required. Responsibilities
• Perform complete setup of CNC mills and/or lathes for production runs. • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions. • Select, install, and verify tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets. • Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. • Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot setup or production issues. • Measure and inspect finished components using precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment. • Maintain tight tolerances for aerospace and medical manufacturing requirements. • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve machining processes. • Assist with process improvements and setup reduction initiatives. • Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures. Qualifications
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred. • Strong CNC setup experience on mills and/or lathes is required. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Experience working with tight-tolerance precision components. • Familiarity with GD&T and precision inspection techniques. • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues. • Experience manufacturing aerospace, defense, medical, or other high-precision components is highly preferred. • CNC programming experience is a plus but not required.
