Job Title:Janitorial Worker Job Description The Janitorial Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the production facility to ensure a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment. Responsibilities
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the production area. • Operate floor-cleaning equipment, including power scrubbers. • Clean and sanitize restrooms. • Remove trash from designated receptacles and transport it to the dumpster. • Keep production aisles and work areas clean and free of clutter. • Complete additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred. • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus. • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workplace. • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. • Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying. • Comfortable using cleaning equipment and tools. • Ability to safely work on ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts when required. • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Lawrence, KS. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
