1st Shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk Needed!! 17-20/hr!! Job DescriptionThe Shipping and Receiving Clerk tracks orders in an ERP system, prepares and prints shipping labels, and accurately counts and records received inventory. This role supports smooth warehouse operations by ensuring materials are properly received, documented, and prepared for shipment.Responsibilities
• Track incoming and outgoing orders accurately in the ERP system. • Print and prepare shipping labels and related documentation for outbound shipments. • Count and verify received inventory against packing slips or purchase orders. • Assist with general shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely processing of materials. • Support inventory control by helping maintain accurate stock levels and records. • Perform kitting and picking tasks as needed to support production and order fulfillment. • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner when required. • Use Microsoft Office and ERP tools to input, update, and review data related to inventory and shipments. • Collaborate with warehouse and production team members to resolve discrepancies and support daily workflow. • Follow established warehouse procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Essential Skills
• Experience in shipping and receiving roles, with a strong understanding of warehouse processes. • Background in inventory management and inventory control practices. • Ability to track orders and inventory data accurately in an ERP system. • Proficiency using Microsoft Office for basic data entry and documentation. • Capability to perform kitting, picking, and packing tasks with attention to detail. • Familiarity with operating a forklift and other general warehouse equipment. • Strong organizational skills and accuracy in counting and recording inventory. • Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively in a warehouse environment. • Experience with general warehouse skills such as forklift operation, picking, packing, and ERP data tracking. • Comfort working with technology-based inventory and order tracking systems. • Ability to collaborate with a small production and warehouse team. • Willingness to support production needs, including occasional mandatory Saturday shifts. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Troy, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
