About this role
We’re looking for someone patient and super-organised to work in our carpentry and joinery team. You don’t need any teaching experience / qualifications for this role, but you’ll need some industry experience, whether that’s labouring, machining, window-fitting or anything in between. Your role is to support students, prepare workspaces and facilitate practical activities.
You’ll need to be…
organised and reliablesupportive, patient and approachableconfident with industry-specific tools and machinery, with a great knack for explaining things simply and clearlyflexible and happy muck to in and do what’s neededknowledgeable about / experienced in a construction trade
What you’ll be doing…
preparing for practical lessons - ensuring workspaces are spic and spanordering tools, equipment, materials – keeping stocks just rightsupporting lessons by guiding students and sharing your technical knowledgea limited amount of teaching
