Be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a related discipline Have experience of working within the community, particularly with children and their families Have a strong knowledge of safeguarding and either been, or possess the desire to be, a safeguarding leadHave the ability to have challenging conversations with parents but be able to maintain a professional and approachable manner at all timesHave excellent communication skills including the ability to make good use of ICT • Have a strong commitment to multi-agency working
Experience of safeguarding, carrying out family-based assessments, working in a multi-agency manner and delivering training to parents would be advantageous. Training will be available for the successful candidate as well as the opportunity to network with other Parent Support Advisers within the ECM trust.
