Are you passionate about Science and you can deliver high-quality lessons and excellent outcomes for pupils?
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, ambitious and inspirational Teacher of Science, with a biology specialism to join our high performing team. You will teach KS3 and KS4 Science, in a forward thinking school that values innovation, collaboration and professional growth.
This is a fixed term position offered on a full time contract, to cover a maternity leave from November 2026. Applications are welcome from both experienced and early career teachers.
The successful candidate will have the capacity to enthuse, engage and inspire our pupils through strong subject knowledge and have excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to teaching and the ability to develop our pupils’ love of learning in Science subjects.

Qualified Teacher Status/ QTLS
Degree in related subject
Recent participation in relevant In-Service Training
Professional knowledge and understanding
Subject National Curriculum – All Key Stages
Assessment
Teaching and Learning strategies
Ability to teach subject to GCSE
Ability to teach subject to A-Level
Willingness to assist in delivery of extracurricular activities
An awareness of safeguarding children issues
