Job Description: he Sales Assistant serves as a vital member of the sales team, supporting the Sales Manager in converting prospective residents into community residents. Through proactive follow-up, relationship building, exceptional customer service, and effective collaboration with marketing and operations teams, this role helps drive occupancy growth and ensures a positive experience for prospective residents and their families. The Sales Assistant supports the Sales Manager in achieving occupancy and revenue goals by focusing on lead management, prospect engagement, customer service, and the successful conversion of prospective residents into community residents. This position serves as a key contact for prospective residents and their families throughout the sales process, ensuring timely follow-up, exceptional customer service, and a seamless experience from initial inquiry through move-in. The Sales Assistant works closely with the Sales Manager, Marketing Team, and community leadership to generate interest, nurture leads, coordinate tours, and support conversion efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prospect & Lead Management

• Support the Sales Manager in managing the prospect pipeline and maintaining occupancy goals. • Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective residents, family members, referral sources, and community partners. • Conduct initial discovery conversations to identify prospect needs, preferences, and timelines. • Qualify leads and schedule appointments, tours, and consultations. • Maintain consistent communication with prospects through phone calls, emails, personal visits, and follow-up activities. • Execute lead-nurturing campaigns and follow-up strategies developed by the Sales Manager. Sales Support

• Assist with converting prospects into residents through relationship-building and exceptional customer service. • Educate prospective residents and families about community services, amenities, lifestyle options, and pricing. • Coordinate and assist with community tours, family visits, and informational meetings. • Support the completion of move-in documentation and transition planning. • Work closely with operations and department leaders to facilitate smooth move-ins and resident onboarding. Family & Resident Relations

• Build trusting relationships with prospective residents and family decision-makers. • Provide accurate and timely information regarding community living options and services. • Address questions and concerns professionally while escalating complex issues to the Sales Manager when appropriate. • Ensure a positive and personalized customer experience throughout the sales journey. Marketing & Event Collaboration

• Partner with the Marketing Team to support lead-generation initiatives and community events. • Assist at open houses, educational seminars, health fairs, networking events, and outreach activities. • Follow up with prospects generated from marketing campaigns, community outreach efforts, and special events. • Support sales and marketing initiatives through prospect communications and database management. • Provide feedback regarding prospect trends, market conditions, and customer needs. CRM & Administrative Support

• Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions within the CRM system. • Track inquiries, tours, deposits, move-ins, referral sources, and conversion activities. • Generate sales reports and pipeline updates for the Sales Manager. • Ensure all prospect information is complete, accurate, and up to date. • Assist with preparing sales presentations, correspondence, and marketing materials. Relationship Development

• Support the development and maintenance of referral relationships with healthcare providers, social workers, discharge planners, local businesses, and community organizations. • Participate in networking opportunities and outreach activities as assigned. • Represent the community professionally at events and public functions. Qualifications Education

• Associate’s degree preferred. • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, admissions, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living preferred. • Experience working with older adults and families preferred. • Experience utilizing CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. • Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or service-industry experience preferred. Pay Range: $23/hr-$30/hr. Potential for sales commission.
