Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a Peer Support Worker to join the Gender Identity Clinic based in Daventry. This is a post for an expert by experience; therefore, we are seeking to recruit someone who has lived experience of gender incongruence and undergoing gender transition. The post will involve supporting service users of the Gender Identity Clinic via the co-production group, psychological and well-being groups and providing individual support and advice where appropriate. The post holder will work within the multidisciplinary team under the supervision of the Principal Clinical Psychologist. We would like to recruit someone who is enthusiastic, a team player and who has good communication skills. Experience of previous support worker roles or supporting others in distress would be an advantage but not essential.
