Coordinates daily operations, including Technician Supervisor, Asset Initializations, and serves as liaison between Biomedical Engineering and Customers. Assumes responsibilities of Biomedical Engineering in the absence of the Director.
• Ensures personnel maintain, operate, test, inspect and perform preventative maintenance checks and repair medical electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment. • Evaluates service processes to continually ensure equipment is maintained in a safe, timely and cost effective manner. • Communicates equipment purchases, preventative maintenance and repairs. • Performs equipment repairs and preventative maintenance checks on all equipment. • Arranges and conducts in-service training for employees and customers. • Performs related duties as required.
• Required: • Education: High School Graduate or equivalent. • Experience: • 5 years in Biomedical Engineering • 2 years supervisory experience.
• Preferred: • Education: Graduate of 2 year accredited college in Biomedical Electronics or Military equivalent. • Licensure/Certification: AAMI Certification (CBET, CRES, CLES)
