As a Credit Officer, you will play a vital role in our organization's financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage credit-related activities, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. • Manage and oversee credit operations, including credit approvals, disbursements, and collections. • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. • Review and analyze credit applications, financial statements, and other relevant documents to assess creditworthiness. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit-related activities. • Collaborate with the sales team to provide support and guidance on credit-related matters. • Monitor and manage credit risk, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies. • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service. • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance. • Prepare and present credit-related reports and analyses to senior management. • Assist in developing and implementing credit policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in a credit-related role, preferably in the BFSI industry. • Strong knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial statement analysis. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers. • Proficiency in using MS Office suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with credit management software and systems is preferred. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Analytical mindset with a focus on attention to detail. • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach. • Willingness to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
