Photo Studio Merchandise Coordinator
Job Description: Join our Creative Marketing team as a Photo Studio Merchandise Coordinator and help keep product photography moving efficiently from planning through completion. In this role, you'll coordinate photography schedules, confirm product readiness, manage merchandise flow, and partner across teams to resolve workflow issues and meet production deadlines. Your organization, communication, and ability to adapt to changing priorities will help maximize studio resources and support high-quality product imagery.
The Photo Studio Merchandise Coordinator plans and coordinates in-house photography schedules based on business priorities, product availability, production capacity, studio resources, and photography automation requirements. This role serves as a key point of contact for cross-functional partners and supports product readiness throughout the photography process. In addition, you'll: • Build and manage daily and weekly photography schedules to maximize studio efficiency, production capacity, and photography automation equipment utilization. • Review shot lists, identify missing information or product gaps, and confirm merchandise, variations, components, props, and accessories are ready before photography begins. • Pull, stage, track, move, and return products according to photography schedules, shot lists, and business priorities. • Adjust shoot plans as priorities or conditions change, communicate impacts, escalate timeline risks, and recommend solutions to keep production moving. • Serve as a primary contact for cross-functional partners, monitor studio progress, communicate status, and help resolve delays, substitutions, product swaps, and workflow concerns. • Support camera-ready merchandise preparation and, during high-volume periods, assist with digital capture, tethered shooting, and generative AI imaging workflows while maintaining a safe and organized work area. • As business needs require, use generative AI tools to support image production while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple requests and changing deadlines in a fast-paced production environment. We're looking for someone who can think critically, communicate effectively across teams, and maintain accurate schedules and product information. In addition, we are looking for: • 3-4 years of experience in photography, merchandising, studio production, project coordination, or a related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workflow-tracking systems used to maintain schedules, product status, documentation, and partner communications. • Strong planning, prioritization, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills. • The ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to changing deadlines, and keep high-volume photography work moving. • Excellent attention to detail and experience organizing, tracking, pulling, and staging products or materials. • Knowledge of photography automation equipment and workflows is helpful, along with the flexibility to support digital capture and related production processes when needed.
