Job SummaryYou will serve as a Aircraft Mechanic (Plane Captain) in the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) of FLTREADCEN EAST.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION Chief or plane captain, and has the primary responsibility for performing, coordinating and/or overseeing the work and any periodic inspections to be done on an aircraft whether it is alone, or with the assistance of other mechanics and/or workers. Perform, at the journey level, disassemble, maintenance and repair, and assemble fixed and rotary wing aircraft systems, airframes, components, and assemblies. Assists other mechanics qualified at a same or higher level for airframe mechanics in the full range of their duties. Major DutiesYou will perform, coordinate and/or oversee the work and any periodic inspections to be done on an aircraft whether it is alone, or with the assistance of other mechanics and/or workers.You will perform, at the journey level, a variety of variety of complex and advanced metal repair, fabrication, plan, layout and structural disassembly/assembly of aircraft and aircraft components.You will perform, at the worker level, a variety of repair, fabrication, modification, removal, and installation of composite and/or plastic items, parts, assemblies, and structuresYou will perform, at the worker level, a variety of electrician duties, troubleshooting, repairing and modifyingYou will perform the fabrication, installation, modification, overhaul, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic equipment.You will assist other mechanics qualified at a same or higher level for airframe mechanics in the full range of their duties.
