QualificationsDA-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Managing the security of programs, personnel, and resources using Special Access Program (SAP) procedures, policy guidelines, and regulations; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and resolving difficult and complex security problems using security concepts, principles, and practices; 3) Interpreting and implementing information, personnel, and physical security regulations and manuals; 4) Administering and evaluating sensitive projects, testing, and security operations; 5) Managing and evaluating Automated Information Systems (AIS) security equipment, programs, alarm systems, entry-control systems, and intrusion-detection systems. DA-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band (DA-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Applying security concepts, principles, and practices to review, analyze, and resolve security problems; 2) Using knowledge of information and personnel security program regulations and physical security manuals; 3) Initiating and administering sensitive projects, testing, and security operations; 4) Working with Automated Information Systems (AIS) security equipment, programs, alarm systems, entry-control systems, and intrusion-detection systems; 5) Using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe Acrobat. Major DutiesYou will provide daily security and administrative support across information, physical, personnel, industrial, communications, and operations security functional areas for Special Access Program (SAP) activities.You will interpret program security requirements, assess risk, and implement appropriate measures to protect classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), sensitive material, personnel, and facilities.You will manage access control processes for secure facilities and controlled areas, verify personnel clearances and need-to-know requirements, and process program access requests.You will develop and maintain security standard operating procedures, deliver security training, and provide guidance on the safeguarding, handling, storage, transmission, destruction, and marking of sensitive information.You will conduct self-inspections of secure spaces, document findings, coordinate corrective actions, and monitor compliance with established security policies and procedures.You will report security incidents and electronic spillages, take immediate containment actions when required, and gather information needed to support preliminary inquiries.
