Job SummaryYou will serve as a Lead System Administrator in the Infrastructure Branch of the Digital Engineering Division of the Operations Department, NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DS 04/ GS 11-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Exercising comprehensive technical oversight and administrative responsibility for the design, configuration, optimization, and lifecycle maintenance of enterprise-level IT server infrastructures, physical/virtual operating systems, and directory service architectures; 2) Performs workload management duties, to include distributing work assignments, establishing milestone schedules, reviewing completed technical products, and providing expert technical guidance and mentorship to a team of systems administrators and technical contractors; 3) Configuring and maintaining enterprise-scale server platforms, resolving highly complex multi-system operational failures, and implementing strict cybersecurity baselines-specifically DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls; 4) Directing a team's response to all EXORD, FRAGORD, IAVM, and CTO directives, ensuring timely and effective implementation; 5) Ensuring all hardware and software is maintained in accordance with relevant updates to uphold system integrity and security posture. Major DutiesYou will provide direct leadership and technical oversight for the Systems Administration team.You will establish and communicate clear team goals, delegates complex technical tasks, and sets deadlines to ensure operational alignment with branch objectives.You will represent the team as the primary System Administration technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) at lab meetings, site surveys, and planning sessions.You will collaborate with the Chief Engineer, fellow team leads, and mission partners to architect and develop new technology solutions that advance the division's Digital Transformation and Digital Engineering efforts.You will hold regular team meetings to disseminate information, assign and review tasking, and foster a collaborative environment, and mediate and resolve internal conflicts to maintain team cohesion and productivity
