Job SummaryYou will serve as an ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare Department (WX), Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Division (WXS), Air & Space EMSO Branch (WXSS) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.
QualificationsIn addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Engineer or Scientist, providing technical expertise and oversight in the development, planning, and execution of systems engineering and technology test and evaluation efforts to resolve complex technical problems and deliver quality results for the overall support and success of an organization. Major DutiesYou will be responsible for providing leadership, technical rigor and standardized implementation of policy and technical requirements related to Test and Evaluation for prime mission equipment within the Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Division.You will demonstrate technical excellence in systems level knowledge of how various pieces work together and affect the subsystem, system, and platforms.You will be responsible for oversight of all Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Division (AEASD) on-site and off-site testing and evaluation.You will ensure all test procedures and processes are properly reviewed and documented prior to allowing test to proceed.
