QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer, leading multi-disciplinary teams within military and federal operations to ensure system safety, reliability, and effectiveness for the full lifecycle of complex diving and hyperbaric systems engineering projects. Major DutiesYou will serve as a Program Engineer and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Technical Warrant Representative for multiple assigned diving systems.You will manage and develop technical requirements for all aspects of new diving system and equipment acquisition.You will develop budget input for all assigned systems and execute same for system acquisition and life-cycle support.You will analyze top level goals and objectives, plans and missions' statements, both short and long range, to ensure that the individual program plans are responsive to and consistent with higher level direction.You will conduct and direct engineering analysis and feasibility studies of ship-installed, portable, and diver worn diving systems and equipment.You will provide advice and guidance to other Navy organizations, Government agencies, state/local governments, foreign governments, and industry on wide range of diving issues to ensure all decisions made and actions taken are technically sound.You will participate in panels, committees, and boards to review and evaluate developments in the diving field or to present information about Division programs.
