About this role

Position Summary

Create a confident, welcoming beginning to every winter adventure as a Ski Ticket Window Attendant at The Peak at Nemacolin. As a Ski Ticket Window Attendant, you will guide guests toward activities, services, rentals, and lessons while delivering accurate transactions and thoughtful recommendations that help shape an exceptional visit. Working alongside The Peak Team, you will gain hands-on experience in luxury recreation, guest service, reservations, and resort operations while developing skills that can support future opportunities within seasonal recreation and hospitality.

What You Will Create

• Create exceptional first impressions by welcoming guests to The Peak, presenting available activities, services, rentals, and lessons, and offering thoughtful recommendations that encourage participation and complement each guest's visit

• Strengthen daily operational excellence by ensuring guests are accurately checked in and out, charges are properly processed, and activity participation is coordinated seamlessly across The Peak Team

• Build confidence and trust at every point of contact by responding to questions, addressing challenges efficiently, and delivering polished service that leaves guests feeling heard, valued, and well cared for

• Protect the integrity of every transaction through accurate cash handling, guest room charges, daily banking procedures, and adherence to Micros and resort cash-handling policies

• Keep communication and reporting aligned by answering incoming calls, maintaining accurate reservations in HOST, sharing relevant information with The Peak Team, and completing end-of-shift documentation, including close procedures, cash drops, commission reports, sales reports, and tip reports

What You Can Expect

• A highly guest-facing role at The Peak, where you collaborate with the broader team to create a seamless recreation experience from the moment guests arrive

• Daily interaction with guests, members, meeting planners, and fellow associates in a fast-paced seasonal environment

• Opportunities to develop guest service, sales, reservation, technical, and financial transaction skills through hands-on experience

• Daily use of Micros and HOST, with opportunities to strengthen your reservation, sales, technical, and cash-handling expertise

• Exposure to the operational coordination required to support activities, rentals, lessons, and other winter recreation experiences

• Opportunities to learn from experienced recreation and hospitality professionals while building confidence in a luxury resort setting

• A seasonal position that can provide a foundation for future opportunities within The Peak Team, Recreation Department, and broader Nemacolin operations

• A schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and varying hours based on seasonal business needs

What You Bring

• A naturally welcoming presence and a genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences through personalized recommendations and thoughtful service

• Confidence communicating activity options, answering questions, and helping guests feel informed and comfortable with their choices

• Composure, patience, and sound judgment when responding to challenges or changing priorities in a fast-moving recreational environment

• Strong attention to detail and personal accountability, particularly when managing reservations, financial transactions, guest charges, and operational information

• Initiative to recognize opportunities to introduce guests to additional experiences while maintaining a service-first approach

• A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn resort systems, cash-handling practices, and operational procedures with consistency and care

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and understand English

• Proficiency in, or ability to learn, Micros and HOST reservation procedures

• Ability to learn and consistently follow cash-handling procedures, daily banking requirements, and applicable resort policies

• Ability to accurately process guest room charges and other transactions

• Availability to work weekends and holidays

• Ability to meet the requirements of a seasonal position supporting ski-season operations
