About this role

Create unforgettable wedding experiences while guiding couples through one of life's most meaningful milestones. As a Wedding Event Sales professional, you will drive wedding revenue growth through strategic sales, thoughtful event planning, and flawless execution of weddings, rehearsal dinners, and related celebrations. Your ability to build relationships, understand client expectations, and coordinate seamlessly across departments will shape exceptional guest experiences while contributing to the resort's financial success in a luxury hospitality environment.

What You Will Create

• Lasting client relationships that transform inquiries into confirmed wedding celebrations through consultative sales conversations, property tours, site visits, proposals, contract execution, and proactive follow-up

• Exceptional wedding experiences that reflect each couple's vision through detailed planning of menus, beverage selections, event layouts, accommodations, and personalized services

• Revenue growth across lodging, food and beverage, venue rentals, resort amenities, and activities through strategic selling, upselling, and thoughtful recommendation of resort offerings

• Clear operational alignment by translating client expectations into accurate catering contracts, banquet event orders, diagrams, room block management, and group resumes that support flawless event execution

• Seamless collaboration across Front Office, Guest Services, Reservations, Banquets, Culinary, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Security, Activities, Golf, and Spa teams to deliver consistently elevated service

• Confident and memorable event execution through onsite presence, proactive problem-solving, and anticipation of guest and client needs before and during wedding events

• Increased market visibility and a strong wedding sales pipeline through management of wedding platforms including Carats & Cake, Wedding Spot, WeddingWire, and The Knot, while maintaining timely responses to prospective clients

• Strong business performance through active participation in revenue discussions, operational meetings, industry education, competitive awareness, and continuous development of sales expertise

Qualifications

• College degree required

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of wedding sales experience required

• Previous wedding sales experience within a luxury hotel or resort environment preferred

• Experience in a Four-Star, Five-Star, or comparable luxury hospitality environment preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Delphi, Social Tables, and related hospitality management systems

• Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to travel as business needs require

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to push, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds
