Job Summary
OTC Fleet Services / Keystone Trailers in Lancaster, PA is seeking motivated individuals for the position of Entry-Level Trailer Service Technician. This role offers paid training and provides an excellent opportunity to learn a trade while developing hands-on skills. The technician will be responsible for assisting with the servicing, repair, and preparation of light-duty trailers, supporting the team in maintaining quality and safety standards. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with their hands and figuring out how things work, with a focus on growth and skill development.
Responsibilities
• Assist experienced technicians in servicing and repairing light-duty trailers to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
• Help prepare trailers for customer use, including inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
• Learn to diagnose common trailer issues and perform routine repairs under supervision.
• Support the team with general shop duties, including cleaning, organizing tools, and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times during work activities.
• Develop technical skills through paid training programs to become proficient in trailer maintenance and repair.
Experience
• No prior experience required; this is an entry-level position with paid training provided.
• Candidates with relevant experience or specialized skills may qualify for higher starting pay.
• A strong interest in working with tools, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions carefully.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
