π About the Role
OTC Fleet Services is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician to support our growing fleet customer base across Lancaster, York, and Berks County.
This role is focused on consistent fleet work β not random retail jobs. Youβll be working independently in the field, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles and equipment.
You will report directly to our Field Operations Manager (Joe) and be part of a structured, fast-growing mobile service division.

π οΈ What Youβll Be Doing
Diagnose and repair (including but not limited to):
β’ Diesel, gas, and LP-powered vehicles
β’ Medium & heavy-duty trucks (including Class 8)
β’ Equipment and fleet vehicles (including 6β48 volt systems)
Perform:
β’ Preventative maintenance (PMs)
β’ Advanced diagnostics (electrical REQUIRED)
β’ Hydraulic repairs
β’ Breakdown and roadside service
β’ Complete work orders using company-provided tablet/software (Fullbay)
β’ Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work environment
β’ Deliver high-quality, efficient work for fleet customers
β±οΈ Schedule & Workload
β’ Average 8β10 hour workdays
β’ 45β50+ hours/week available based on productivity
β’ Overtime available
β’ Primarily day shift
β’ No second or third shift
β’ Minimal on-call (rare and limited)
π° Compensation
β’ $30β$40/hour (based on experience)
β’ Overtime available
β’ Additional pay bumps for:
β’ CDL
β’ State Inspection License
β’ Snow equipment experience
π― What Weβre Looking For
β’ Strong diagnostic ability (this is not an entry-level role)
β’ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (REQUIRED)
β’ Ability to work independently and self-manage
β’ Comfortable working in mobile/on-site environments
β’ Takes pride in quality work and productivity
β’ Maintains a clean and organized service truck
β Requirements
β’ 5+ years experience as a technician
β’ Valid driverβs license with clean driving record
β’ Ability to pass DOT physical
β’ Must provide own hand tools
β’ Strong experience with diesel, gas, and/or equipment repair
β’ State Inspection License (preferred or required based on role)
β Preferred (Not Required)
β’ CDL (pay increase available)
β’ Welding / fabrication experience
β’ Experience with heavy equipment or hydraulic systems
