About this role

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements: We need knowledge and experience of developing APIs, RESTful services and microservice architectures.We need experience building and deploying applications in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.We need a strong understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).We need experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB.We need experience building and maintaining robust automated test suites that support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).We need proven experience developing and supporting large-scale systems using Java 21 and open-source technologies. Responsibilities: We build and support digital services used by millions of citizens across the UK.We design, develop and maintain software products that improve services for our users.We collaborate with architects, engineers and product teams to develop secure, resilient and scalable applications using modern technologies including Java, AWS, Kubernetes, Python and CI/CD pipelines.We contribute to our engineering community by sharing knowledge, promoting best practice and helping teams deliver high-quality software.
