About the roleKingfisher Primary Academy is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is committed to helping every child thrive. We are seeking someone who can confidently lead learning, support pupils with a range of needs, and work collaboratively with teachers to deliver high-quality educational experiences. The successful candidate will be adaptable, resilient and nurturing, with the ability to build positive relationships, promote inclusion and inspire pupils to achieve their very best. A strong understanding of teaching and learning, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting children's academic and personal development are essential.

Key responsibilitiesPlan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classesProvide high-quality support to pupils, including those with additional needsCover lessons in the absence of the class teacher when requiredSupport the assessment of pupil progress and contribute to planningPromote a positive and inclusive learning environmentWork collaboratively with teachers and other staff to raise achievementWhat we are looking forExperience of working effectively within a primary school settingHLTA status or equivalent experience/qualificationStrong understanding of teaching and learning strategiesThe ability to motivate, inspire and support pupils of all abilitiesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA commitment to high expectations and safeguarding practices
