We are now looking to appoint a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team and help ensure our pupils enjoy a safe, calm, and positive lunchtime experience.

The RoleThe successful candidate will supervise pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour both in the dining hall and playground.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise pupils in dining areas, playgrounds, and other school spaces during lunchtimeEnsure pupils move safely and behave appropriately when entering, queuing, and diningSupport pupils during mealtimes, including assisting with food, drinks, and minor spillagesSet up, clear, and maintain a clean and organised dining environmentSupervise and encourage safe, positive play and social interaction outdoorsPatrol school areas and escort pupils where required to ensure safetyRespond to incidents appropriately, including administering basic first aid if requiredEnsure school safeguarding and security procedures are followed at all timesWhat We’re Looking ForA calm, caring and patient individual who enjoys working with childrenAbility to promote positive behaviour and act as a good role modelA proactive approach to supervising play and preventing incidentsGood communication skills and the ability to work as part of a teamReliability and a strong sense of responsibility for pupil safety and wellbeingAbility to respond appropriately to minor accidents and incidentsAn understanding of safeguarding and commitment to keeping children safeA flexible and positive attitude, willing to support the wider school environment
