We are seeking a compassionate, resilient and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional and complex needs, helping them access learning and thrive within a supportive and inclusive setting.

Kingfisher Primary Academy is a thriving two-form entry school with a 52-place nursery, located in the heart of Doncaster. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide tailored 1:1 support to pupils, ensuring they can access learning and fully participate in school lifeSupport the delivery of a therapeutic, broad and balanced curriculum adapted to meet individual needsWork closely with teachers and senior leaders to adapt learning in line with SEND requirementsPromote pupils’ independence, confidence and emotional wellbeingSupport pupils’ health, welfare and personal care needs where requiredBuild positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues to support consistent progressWhat We’re Looking ForShares a strong belief that every child can succeedPassionate about inclusive education and early interventionExperience supporting children with additional or complex needs (desirable)Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children and adultsPatient, proactive and adaptable to meet the needs of individual pupilsCommitted to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
