About this role

PLAY WORKER

Salary: NJC Scale 2 points 4 to 5 (£25,185 to £25,583 per annum FTE - pay award pending). Actual salary £11,375.14 per annum on point 5.

Contract: Permanent. 19.75 hours per week. 07.00 to 08.45 Monday to Friday and 15.15 to 18.00 Monday to Thursday. Term time plus 2 training days in September and October (38.4 weeks per year).

Start date: As soon as possible

The Role

As a Playworker, you will:

Provide high-quality care and supervision for children attending Roosters Create a fun, safe and engaging environment where children can thrive Organise and lead a range of activities including games, crafts, sports and outdoor play Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues Encourage positive behaviour and support children's wellbeing Work collaboratively with the wider Roosters team and school staff Ensure children remain safe, happy and fully engaged throughout sessions Promote our values of Respect, Aspire and Grow in all interactionsWe're Looking For Someone Who:
