• Develop and execute test plans for new software features and enhancements. • Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and documentation based on business and technical requirements. • Perform regression, integration, and performance testing across complex workflows and systems. • Build and execute automated test suites while maintaining clear documentation and reporting. • Investigate software issues through log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification. • Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and fellow testers to ensure high-quality releases. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • 1+ year of experience in software testing, systems testing, quality assurance, or software engineering. • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and troubleshooting technical issues. • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. • Exposure to one or more of the following technologies: • Python • PHP • MySQL • Behave • C++
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Android or Linux-based system experience. • Experience creating automated testing frameworks or maintaining automated test suites. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for software quality. Sponsorship is not available for this role.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
