DescriptionClient is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst to support critical digital banking initiatives focused on Online Banking and Online Account Opening (OAO) platforms. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, documenting, and coordinating user acceptance testing activities to ensure systems meet business requirements and deliver a high-quality customer experience.The UAT Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, project teams, operations, and technology teams to validate system functionality, identify defects, document issues using screenshots and supporting evidence, and ensure successful implementation of new features, enhancements, and conversion-related initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)Execute comprehensive UAT test scenarios and test cases for online banking and online account opening platforms.Validate system functionality against business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Perform end-to-end testing of customer-facing digital banking processes.Identify, document, and track defects, issues, and system anomalies through resolution.Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing as necessary.Ensure testing activities are completed within established project timelines.Online Banking TestingTest online banking features including:User registration and onboardingAccount access and authenticationAccount balances and transaction historyFunds transfer functionalityBill payment servicesAlerts and notificationsMobile and online banking integrationsUser profile and account maintenance functionsValidate customer workflows and overall user experience.Identify potential system, operational, or customer-impacting issues prior to production deployment.Online Account Opening (OAO) TestingConduct testing of consumer and business account opening processes.Validate application workflows, disclosures, funding processes, and account setup functionality.Test system integrations with internal and third-party applications.Verify data flow between platforms and downstream systems.Ensure regulatory, compliance, and business requirements are met throughout the account opening process.Defect Documentation & ReportingCreate detailed defect reports including:Steps to reproduce issuesExpected versus actual resultsScreenshots and supporting documentationSeverity and priority assessmentsMaintain testing logs, defect trackers, and testing evidence repositories.Partner with development and technology teams to communicate issues and support troubleshooting efforts.Provide regular status updates regarding testing progress and defect resolution.Project & Business CollaborationParticipate in requirements reviews, project meetings, and testing strategy discussions.Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Operations teams, and Developers throughout the project lifecycle.Review business requirements and identify test coverage needs.Support conversion readiness, implementation, and post-deployment validation activities.Assist in developing and maintaining UAT standards, templates, and procedures.SkillsUat testing, Uat, Quality assurance, test plansTop Skills DetailsUat testing,UatAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrior banking or financial services experience.Experience testing online account opening platforms.Experience using testing and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Quality Center, or similar platforms.Knowledge of digital banking products and customer journeys.Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.Experience participating in system conversions, integrations, or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.Experience LevelExpert Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
