IT Infrastructure Technician (Cabling, Networking & Security Technology) Build Your IT Career with Hands-On Infrastructure & Security Technology Experience Take your IT career to the next level with a role that offers hands-on experience across networking, infrastructure, security technology, and connected systems. You'll support a variety of technologies including structured cabling, IP-based devices, security cameras, access control systems, and other critical infrastructure while receiving training on specialized security technologies. With strong potential for permanent placement, this is an opportunity to develop valuable technical skills and grow with an organization that invests in its team members. What You'll Be Doing
• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat5/Cat6 low-voltage cabling • Support technology infrastructure projects across multiple school locations • Troubleshoot and support IP-based devices and connected technologies • Assist with A/V systems, digital signage, and other technology equipment • Perform preventative maintenance on security cameras and access control systems • Learn to troubleshoot and support card readers, door hardware, electronic locks, keypads, and access control devices • Assist with camera installations, repairs, and upgrades • Support basic networking tasks, including IP addressing and device connectivity • Travel between assigned sites to resolve technology-related service tickets • Work closely with a team while also managing assigned tasks independently Required Skills
• Experience with structured cabling, low-voltage installation, or Cat5/Cat6 termination • Basic networking knowledge and understanding of IP addressing • Experience working with computer hardware, network-connected devices, or technology installations • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of North Charleston, SC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
