About this role
This role is responsible for supporting the AP BPO Manager overseeing AP operations executed by an external Business Process Outsourcing provider, ensuring service quality, compliance, operational excellence, and achievement of agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Oversee AP operations performed by the external BPO partner, take a QA role over high-risk process. Monitor service delivery against contracted SLAs, KPIs, operational controls, and compliance requirements. Conduct regular performance reviews with the BPO provider and drive corrective actions where performance gaps are identified. Ensure AP activities are executed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Act as the escalation point for complex operational issues, exceptions, and service disruptions. Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and establish sustainable solutions. Support internal and external audit activities. Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize AP processes. Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or best-practice methodologies. Support automation initiatives, including OCR, workflow tools, e-invoicing, and RPA solutions. Document and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation. Support the design, implementation, and stabilization of new AP processes. Lead process reviews to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities. Document and maintain operating procedures, work instructions, and governance standards. Drive standardization initiatives across treasury activities managed by the service provider. Participate in transformation programs and digitalization initiatives (AI implementation) Support AP-related system implementations, upgrades, and process transformations. Coordinate testing, user acceptance activities, and operational readiness assessments. Act as the AP subject matter expert for the BPO provider. Develop and coordinate training programs for new processes, controls, systems, and policy updates.
