Senior Medical Staffing Coordinator - 37.5hrs - Band 4
We are looking to recruit a motivated, conscientious and flexible individual to lead the coordination of medical staffing across the Urgent & Emergency Care Collaborative, enabling the delivery of quality rotas that are safe, cost-effective, efficient and fair.
Working as the Senior Medical Staffing Coordinator, the post holder will work closely with the Collaborative Managers and clincians responsible for medical staffing. Key stakeholders will also include Medical Workforce, Agency Team, People Services, Medical Job Planning team and medical staff, in order to coordinate staffing operationally.
Applicants must have excellent administrative, customer service, database and Excel skills and an ability to pay particular attention to detail.
Travel between sites will be required. This is a permanent post working 37.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job The purpose of the post is to lead rostering for Urgent & Emergency Care within NCIC, co-ordinating medical staffing and associated rotas for the Urgent & Emergency Care medical teams across both Acute Hospital sites. Key aspects of this post include:
Coordination of short notice cover Coordination of rota gaps and forward planning Coordination and communication of medical rotas Monitoring of safe staffing compliance Monitoring and processing of annual leave and sick leave Coordination of sickness processing and escalating in line with the Trust's Attendance Management Policy Monitoring of compliance with Junior Doctors Contract (2016), The SAS Doctors Contract (2008) and the Consultant Contract (2003), plus the Working Time Regulations and all relevant policies and procedures Preparation of management reports as required
