This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of organisational development, supporting teams and leaders to understand their engagement data, have impactful conversations, and take meaningful action. You will design and deliver engaging training, facilitate team development sessions, and provide tailored support to both internal teams and external partner organisations.
As part of a small, dynamic team, you'll play a key role in the continued growth of TED--supporting new client onboarding, contributing to innovative resources, and helping shape the future of team engagement across multiple sectors.

Main duties of the job
Design and deliver engaging TED training and team development sessions for team leaders and staff Facilitate team discussions to help interpret engagement data and develop meaningful action plans Provide ongoing coaching and support to leaders to embed improvements in team culture and performance Work with internal teams and external clients to implement the TED programme effectively Support onboarding, training, and relationship management for external partner organisations Contribute to the development of TED resources, toolkits, and communications Support the delivery of client events, workshops, and learning sessions Collaborate with the wider OD team to continuously improve the TED approach and impact

The Organisational Development Advisor Team Engagement will play a key role in supporting the delivery and growth of the Trusts Team Engagement and Development (TED) programme, working with both internal teams and external partner organisations.
The postholder will combine organisational development consultancy, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills to support teams and leaders to improve engagement, culture, and performance.
Consultancy, Facilitation and Delivery Design, deliver and evaluate TED training sessions, including Team Leader training and development programmes Facilitate team feedback sessions, supporting teams to interpret TED diagnostic results and develop meaningful action plans Provide coaching and follow-up support to leaders to embed learning and sustain improvements in team culture and performance Support the delivery of enhanced development programmes and workshops aligned to team engagement priorities Organisational Development Consultancy Provide OD consultancy support to teams and services, helping them to understand team dynamics and identify areas for improvement Support teams to translate insight into practical, achievable actions that enhance engagement and effectiveness Work collaboratively with Workforce colleagues and senior leaders to align TED activity with organisational priorities External Client Engagement and Support Support the onboarding of new client organisations, including training delivery and system setup processes Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, acting as a key point of contact for ongoing support Deliver TED Accreditation training and facilitate client learning sessions Contribute to regular client reviews, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for improvement Support the delivery of client events, webinars, and engagement sessions Communications and Resource Development Contribute to the development of TED resources, toolkits, and learning materials Support the creation of communications, including case studies, blogs, and promotional content Work with colleagues to provide regular updates to the TED user community Contribute to the development of digital content such as e-learning, videos, and interactive resources Service Improvement and Innovation Work with the TED team to identify opportunities to enhance the programme, tools, and client offer Collect and use feedback from teams and clients to inform continuous improvement Contribute to the ongoing development and growth of TED across the Trust and externally General Responsibilities Act as a positive ambassador for the Trust and the TED programme Work in line with Trust values, policies, and procedures, including information governance and confidentiality Support equality, diversity, and inclusion through all aspects of work Maintain accurate records of activity and client interactions Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role
Person Specification
Qualifications and Education Essential
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area or demonstrable experience working in the professional field. Coaching qualification or substantial experience of coaching range of senior staff for multidisciplinary roles Evidence of structured professional and career development.
Desirable
Teaching qualification or Certificate of Education level or equivalent Professional registration (e.g. CIPD qualified)
Knowledge and Experience Essential
Knowledge of team engagement and/or team development theory and practice. Knowledge of a range of organisational development interventions, and facilitation techniques. Experience of client relationship management, delivery to timescales and exceeding expectations. Experience of writing and delivering presentations in a variety of settings. Experience of co-ordinating events, workshops or focus groups. Experience of producing communications resources and utilising a range of communication channels including social media. Experience of influencing senior leaders to engage and actively participate in OD interventions.
Desirable
Experience of working in the public sector or NHS. Experienced in the design and delivery of a range of development and training programmes to colleagues at all levels and in all roles. Experience of working as an internal or external consultant and providing a consultancy service including experience of scoping, design, analytical and diagnostic skills to implement OD interventions to meet a range of different stakeholder needs. Experience delivering Organisational Development in a large diverse organisation. Experience supporting the Team Engagement and Development (TED) approach.
