Job SummaryYou will serve as an EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST in the EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY ORGANIZATION of USPACFLT EEO PROGRAM MANAGEMENT.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing and processing informal and formal EEO complaints through resolution; authoring, reviewing, and approving EEO Counselor reports; analyzing systemic issues and root causes to prevent disputes; executing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) strategies, preparing parties for mediation, and coordinating with mediators; providing guidance on Reasonable Accommodation requests. Major DutiesYou will serve as functional expert in the area of EEO complaint processing, providing case management services to customer activities responsive to the EEOC and Navy regulations.You will provide advice and guidance to Human Resources (HR) specialists and activity management on sensitive and complex personnel issues relating to workplace disputes and/or EEO complaint processing.You will serve as a functional expert in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), developing and executing strategies, procedures, and guidance for implementation of ADR initiatives for customer activities.You will serve as Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Point of Contact (POC) for customer activities, providing subject matter expertise, analysis and assistance in all stages of RA processing.You will perform Affirmative Employment Program (AEP) and Special Emphasis Program (SEP) management work, providing advice on AEP and SEP for EEO protected groups who lack participation in the workforce.You will develop, implement, evaluate and improve processes and procedures to monitor the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity relating to EEO programs.
