Job SummaryYou will serve as a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the PRODUCTION CONTROL DIVSION of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector supporting the planning and coordination of supply programs (inventory management, distribution facilities, storage management, budget, etc.) to support production schedules. Major DutiesI will collaborate with the Production Controller in the implementation of basic objectives, policies, directives and procedures established by higher authority.I will aid in developing and implementing local supply policies, regulations and bulletins.I will plan and take action to assure accomplishment of work and furnish opinions, advice, guidance, interpretations and decisions on administrative and specialized supply problems.I will provide a review of the progress of work by establishing internal control procedures, holding conferences and informal discussions with supervisors noting deficiencies and directing the necessary corrective action to be taken.I will discuss changes in mission with management official, submits budget estimates and other related material, and initiates supply actions on the basis of approved forecast of needs.I will coordinate activities of the branch with other segments of the Supply Division and various other organizations within the installation.
